Other games include Aston Villa playing a renewed Spurs, relegation-tipped Bolton play West Brom, Fulham host Sunderland, QPR play Stoke and relegated Wolves play 7th placed Everton. The late kick off is between Manchester United and Swansea and could be decisive in who wins the title.

News : A statue of the late Sir Bobby Robson has been erected at St James' Park prior to their game against Man City.

Team news
Newcastle United : Krul, Perch, Collocini, Williamson, Santon, Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Tiote, Gutierrez, Cisse, Ba

Manchester CityHart, Zabaleta, Lescott, Kompany, Clichy, Nasri, Toure Yaya, Barry, Silva, Aguero, Tevez

Roberto Mancini thinks today's game will be tougher than the crunch match on Monday against Manchester United saying to the press 'I think this game will be more difficult for us," said Mancini. "The United game was at home and we played very well to win but Newcastle is away and I think it will be harder.'

He holds a valid point, Newcastle have the best record in the premier league for the last 8 games, winning 7 and losing 1 and also have inform striker Papiss Cisse leading the line and 12 goals in 11 games would be enough to worry any manager.

The teams have now walked out on to the pitch, unless you are watching the game, DO NOT GO ANYWHERE!

1 min - The game at St James Park has kicked off.

5 minutes in and neither team giving too much away, which is understandable in a game this big.

Sergio Aguero just took a kick to the face off Yohann Cabaye. Nothing malicious and Aguero is up nearly straight away.

9 mins : City Twice have shots blocked before Tiote can clear from the resulting corner, Visitors playing the best football so far.

10 mins : Nearly! Silva and Aguero linking well with the former getting a shot away which is well saved by Krul.

Cheik Tiote down in pain but eventually gets up, he look in real discomfort but the game goes on.

17 mins : Good play again from Silva and Aguero but the latter produces a tame effort at Krul.

Krul seems to be in trouble, after nearly making his team concede, he flaps at a corner and has to rely on a team member to scoop it away.

City have had 77% of the possession and all the chances as another one just goes begging.

First yellow card of the game goes to Newcastle after a cynical Ben Arfa tackle

All 2 O'clock games have started now.

And QPR just went close after Mackie burst down the right but his ball isn't met by Taarabt.

And just after that chance Cameron Jerome skies a shot from 8 yards out, his run was similar to the one against Everton.

Still 0-0 at St James' but Newcastle just had a chance with Demba Ba firing a shot a yard or two over.

Another fantastic opportunity from Newcastle which is saved well by Hart.

Adebayor shoots from 20 yards out and his shot flashed past the post, warning signs for Villa.

CRACKING SHOT! Taarabt smashes a free kick past the wall and Sorensen just parries it and Barton can't convert.

12 MINS : GOAL!! CLINT DEMPSEY! 1-0 FULHAM! Superb free kick from Dempsey as he curls it away from Mignolet.

Half Time at St James'. Scoreline still 0-0 but lots of chances to keep the crowd entertained.

Penalty at the Reebok. Mark Davies brought down by Andrews, this moments after Shane Long hit the post.
Martin Petrov takes the penalty....GOAL!!!!!! Well converted by the Bulgarian! 1-0 Bolton!

34 MINS : GOAL!!!!! SUNDERLAND! Phillip Bardsley With a thunderbolt!!!! one a piece at Craven Cottage.

35 MINS : ANOTHER GOAL!!!! FULHAM!! Moussa Dembele carries the ball from the half way line and his shot deflects into the top corner! 2-1 Fulham!

Half time at the majority of the games, here are the half time scores :

QPR 0 - 0 Stoke
Wolves 0 - 0 Everton

70 mins : GOLAGOLAGOLAGOAL!!!!! YAYA TOURE!!!! He strokes it with ease into the corner and puts City on track to win the tie and possibly win the league. A massive goal from a massive player!

All the 2pm kick offs back on by the way.

Fact : Yaya Toure's full name is Gnegneri Toure Yaya.

Straight red at Aston Villa. Danny Rose the offender. Good decision from Lee Probert, nasty challenge.

GOAL!!! MANCHESTER CITY!!! YAYA TOURE!!! from a Newcastle chance, City break and Toure converts again! Title pretty much wrapped up.

GOAL!!! ADEBAYOR!!! From a penalty, Adebayor sends Given the wrong way, who punches the post in frustration.

Full time at St James' Park, 2-0 City which means the title is theirs (or as good as).

GOAAAAAL!!!!! 2-0 BOLTON! OWN GOAL!!! Billy Jones unintentionally diverts the ball into his own net. The Goal edges Bolton closer to safety.

ANOTHER GOAL!!! 2-1 now! Chris brunt gets one back for WBA! GAME ON!

GOAL!!! QPR!!! MASSIVE GOAL!!! Djribbl Cisse puts his team ahead and finally get the goal that was coming the whole match.

ANOTHER GOAL!!!! HUGE GOAL!!! WEST BROM! This goal means Bolton have to win their next game, which isn't looking likely at the moent.

Full time scores across the rest of the games:

Villa 1 - 1 Spurs
QPR 1 - 0 Stoke
